After months of “have they/haven’t they?” speculation, American singer/songwriter Patty Griffin has finally quashed the rumours that she and her partner Robert Plant had secretly wed. They haven’t. But that does not stop her gushing about the effect he has had on her creativity.
As she joins Bob Harris for a live session to promote her new album release, American Kid, she talks about what an inspiration he has been to her. And while most of the album is about her father, Plant is not left out — he makes a guest appearance on three of the tracks.
